Man Dies after SUV AND 18-WHEELER Crash in South
Shore, Kentucky

SOUTH SHORE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man has died after a crash
involving an SUV and 18-wheeler.
It happened Monday afternoon on US 23 in South Shore.
South Shore Assistant Fire Chief Charles Farley tells
WSAZ Kendall Piatt, 57, pulled out in front of the 18-wheeler. He was trapped
in his SUV and crews on the scene had to use the jaws of life to get him out of
the vehicle.
Farley says Piatt died from his injuries.
There's no word at this time if charges will be filed in
the crash.
