ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police say a semi truck crash caused a traffic backup on Tuesday morning.

They tell WKYT that two semis crashed into each other near Renfro Valley on Interstate 75. One semi hit the back of the other. The impact of the crashed severed the cab of one truck, making a mess on the roadway.

They set up a detour to avoid the wreck.
Crews rerouted drivers off of Exit 62 in Renfro Valley and onto U.S. 25. Drivers can get back on Interstate 75 in Berea at exit 76.

NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a tractor-trailer truck has jackknifed on a highway in New York City, and some of the cars it was carrying have toppled off and overturned.

The Fire Department says one person has been taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The wreck happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on the Long Island Expressway between Main Street and Kissena Boulevard in Queens.

Police say it no other vehicles are involved, except the tractor-trailer and the cars on it.
With rush hour beginning, the highway's eastbound lanes are closed, and westbound traffic is backed up.
