Log truck involved in a multi-vehicle wreck on Hwy 35 in DeKalb Co.

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Authorities were called to the scene of a crash that blocked traffic in DeKalb County.
The wreck happened on Highway 35 between Fort Payne and Rainsville, as one travels up the mountain, around 5 p.m.

Witnesses at the scene said the accident involved a log truck. Troopers confirmed this information Tuesday evening, adding that a car rear-ended the log truck.

A log then pierced the windshield of the car. The wreck involved multiple vehicles.
