Construction Worker Dies While Working On Set of “Universal Studios” in West Hollywood, CA

On Monday, July 27, 2015 at approximately 6:05 a.m., West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station received a call of a person not breathing at 1000 Universal Studios Boulevard, Universal City, “Universal Studios.”  

When deputies arrived, Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were already on scene and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a 46-year-old man.

Unfortunately, the man could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the location.  

The man, a construction worker, died of apparent natural causes.  His death is not the result of an industrial accident.  The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner will determine the cause of death.
