TRUCK DRIVER KILLED WHEN HIS SEMI TRUCK WAS STALLED ON INTERSTATE I-80 WHEN ANOTHER SEMI CRASHED INTO ITS CAB.

LINCOLN,
Neb. —A 30-year-old truck driver from Illinois has reportedly died after an
accident Sunday on Interstate 80.
Authorities
are asking drivers to avoid Interstate 80 westbound lanes near Waverly in
Lancaster County.
I-80
is closed between exit 405 (Highway 77) and exit 409 (Waverly). That's 2 miles
east of Lincoln.
According
to reports, a semi was stalled on the interstate when another semi crashed into
its cab.
The
driver was reportedly transported in critical condition to a local hospital,
where he later died.
The
wreck is blocking westbound lanes, so drivers should avoid that route.
