SECURITY GUARD AT THE INDIANA STATE FAIRGROUNDS IS RECOVERING AFTER BEING HIT BY TWO CRIME SUSPECTS FLEEING IN A MINI-VAN

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 15, 2014) — A Greenwood security officer working at the State Fairgrounds is recovering at after being hit by a mini-van Saturday morning.

The incident happened just before 11a.m., when two men were seen breaking into a pickup truck on the west side of the fairgrounds.

The men fled the scene in a mini-van and struck 43-year-old Brian Daley, working for U.S. Security Associates, as he was stepping off a curb near the fairground’s Gate 6.

Officials say the driver of the van never slowed down or stopped and continued southbound on Fall Creek Parkway.

Daley was taken to Methodist Hospital with a possible broken arm.

The suspects are described as two black men, last seen driving a two-tone brown or green Pontiac or Oldsmobile mini-van with a paper license plate.
