NEW WILMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – One person was killed
Tuesday when a mini-van ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle (a pickup
truck) in Mercer County.
The crash happened about 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of
Bethel New Wilmington Road and Mercer Pulaski Road in Wilmington Township.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Fred Flory, 71, of
Salem was traveling south on Bethel New Wilmington Road when he ran a stop sign
and crashed into a pickup truck driven by Jodi Rimel, 36, of Dawson,
Pennsylvania.
Flory’s passenger, Mandy Digman, 39, also of Salem, was killed
in the crash.
Rimel suffered serious injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
