MAN INJURED IN
TUESDAY ACCIDENT WITH FLATBED TRUCK IN LORENA, TEXAS
LORENA , TEXAS (January 13, 2015) A man was taken by ambulance
from a scene near downtown Lorena Tuesday after his vehicle was involved in a
crash with a flatbed deliver-style truck.
Department of Public Safety Trooper D.L. Wilson said the
injured driver was parked near the Lorena post office at about noon when a
flatbed truck collided with the parked car.
Lorena firefighters, assisted by firefighters from
Woodway, had to use the Jaws of Life to cut the injured man from his crushed
vehicle, Wilson said.
The man, who was not identified, was taken by ambulance
to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Medical Center in undetermined condition
for treatment of his injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
