CHESNEE,
SC (FOX Carolina) -
Three
fire departments responded to a Chesnee home early Friday after a fire broke
out.
The
fire was reported at a home on Highway 11 near North Cash Avenue just before 2
a.m.
Fire
officials at the scene said the home is a total loss and the cause is believed
to be electrical.
Assistant
Fire Chief Billy Bishops said heavy fire was coming from the home's roof when
they arrived. He said a woman and at least two children made it out of the home
OK.
Bishop
said the home was built in the 1930s, making it more difficult for firefighters
to attack the fire in the roof.
