EARLY FRIDAY MORNING FIRE TEARS THROUGH CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VIRGINIA HOME

Early Friday Morning Fire Tears Through Chesterfield County, Virginia Home

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Firefighters battled an early morning blaze at a quiet subdivision Friday morning.
Chesterfield Fire and EMS are still on the scene right now in the 5400 block of Misty Hill Road.

Firefighters were on scene around 3:00 a.m. When they arrived, the garage was fully involved with fire. Thankfully, crews were able to contain the fire to that part of the home. The main area of the home just has some water and smoke damage.

There were four people in at home at the time. All were able to get out safely and they’re staying with friends this morning.
Right now Misty Hill Road is closed, but we were told it should reopen by 7:00 a.m. at the latest.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
