Early morning two-alarm fire damages the our
lady of sorrows Corona church in Queens, New York

CORONA (PIX11) — A two-alarm fire damaged a church in
Queens early Sunday, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at around 5:45 a.m. at Our Lady of
Sorrows Church on 37th Avenue in Corona. Firefighters responded and got the
blaze under control around 7:40 a.m.
Part of the church was damaged, though there is no
information on where the fire started and where church services will be moved.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
