DRIVER DEAD, TWO BOYS INJURED IN OVERNIGHT CRASH IN ROUTE 20 IN PAVILION, NEW YORK. ICY ROAD CONDITIONS MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE CRASH.



Driver dead, two boys injured in overnight crash in Route 20 in Pavilion, New York.  Icy road conditions may have contributed to the crash.







PAVILLION, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police are investigating a one car accident in the town of Pavillion that killed a man overnight. Officials say 44-year-old Christopher Hartnett of West Seneca lost control of his mini van on Route 20, crashing into a tree. Icy road conditions are believed to be the cause.




Hartnett was extricated from the van but was pronounced dead once he arrived at the hospital.




Andrew Hartnett, 14, was in the front passenger seat and sustained a head injury and other minor injuries. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and is listed in stable condition.




Jonah Cross, 10, was riding in the back seat and survived with only minor injuries and is also been evaluated at Strong Memorial Hospital also.
