GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -
There has been a chemical spill at an LA Fitness in Gwinnett County.
A member of the gym told CBS46 the spill happened in the pool at the location on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.
"I was in the shower when it happened and am experiencing burning eyes, nose and throat," said gym member Kathryn Pierce.
Police said there was an accidental mix of chemicals at the pool.
According to Pierce, the ambulance was called for a member who was in the pool at the time. Police said one person was treated at the scene and another was taken to the hospital.
Pierce said authorities are not treating other members and are not providing any information to them.
The gym was evacuated.
