COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
The South Carolina Highway Patrol has released its final report on a multiple-vehicle fiery crash on Interstate 26 in May that shut down the highway for hours and caused thousands of dollars in pavement repairs.

According to the Highway Patrol, only one person from the crash was found as a "contributor" to the accident, but no one was found "at-fault."

Several vehicles, including a tanker truck carrying gasoline, were involved in the crash on eastbound I-26 near Piney Grove Road on May 27. The crash caused a massive fire that threatened nearby homes and businesses. The fire burned so hot, the pavement was damaged.
Four people were taken to the hospital but everyone survived the crash.
Thousands of commuters were on their way to work when the crash occurred.

Officers with the Highway Patrol Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team gathered hundreds of pages of documents and photos in their investigation.
