WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating an early morning fiery crash in northeastern Wake County.
Just after 1 a.m., emergency crews were called to the accident on Highway 96 (Zebulon Road) at US 401 in Wake Forest.
It appeared two vehicles crashed head-on and one of the vehicles burst into flames.
At least two people were pulled from the wreckage, but the extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
