A 32-year-old woman was killed early Saturday after two BMW motorcycles collided on the exit ramp of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.
Both motorcycles, each occupied by a male driver and female passenger, were traveling westbound on the lower level of the bridge, when one rear-ended the other on the exit ramp to East 60th Street at First Avenue.
The impact caused the woman in the front motorcycle to fall off. She was then hit by the 28-year-old driver of the second motorcycle. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
The 30-year-old driver of the first motorcycle was taken to the New York Hospital, along with the driver of the second motorcycle and his 21-year-old passenger. They remain in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
