JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
One person is dead and another was injured when a train crashed into a vehicle on Saturday police said.
A
CSX train collided with a vehicle at a railroad crossing near 9700 W.
Beaver Street according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The person who died and the person injured were both traveling in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The injured person was transported to UF Health police said.
Police were told by witnesses that the guard rails were down at the time of the crash.
The identity of either person from the vehicle was not released by police.
