A dangerous problem at a major retail chain across the
country has now hit home in Delaware.
At the Dollar General store at 1679 Pulaski Highway in Bear, the Action Cam captured images of merchandise blocking several emergency exits, which is against federal law.
Federal inspectors found four safety violations at the store last year, leading to the proposal of $122,100 in penalties.
Dollar General has gotten more than 40 safety citations nationwide since 2009.
In a statement, Erin Patterson, director of OSHA's Wilmington Area Office said: "Again and again, our inspectors have found similar hazards at Dollar General stores, yet the company continues to put its employees at risk."
At the Bear, Delaware store OSHA inspectors found one alleged willful violation and other violations, which include electrical panel and fire extinguisher hazards.
