A worker for a Danbury company, Winter Bros. on White Street, was struck and killed there by a garbage truck on Wednesday morning just before 7 a.m., according to Danbury Police.
Marcio DaSilva, 58, of Danbury, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the garbage truck was Sylvie Dzamko, 46, Danbury.
OSHA was notified and came to the scene and the accident is still under investigation.
