2 FLOWN TO BURN UNIT AFTER CAR TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, STRUCK A TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLE AND ROLLED IN SIOUX FALLS, SD

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP)

Two people were flown to a burn unit in Minneapolis after a fiery crash in Sioux Falls.

Authorities say the 21-year-old woman and a man whose identity was not immediately confirmed were in a car that crashed late Tuesday while traveling at a high rate of speed.

The car was engulfed in flames after it struck a traffic signal pole and rolled. The woman was thrown from the vehicle. The man was pulled through a window by a passer-by.

I guess these two were in a hurry to arrive at their final destination.  What is wrong with people?  Don’t they like their lives?  Unfortunately there are too many of them judging from the 34,000 people dying and the hundreds of thousands injured on the roads every year.
