Tour boat KURT-C sank some 2 nm off Antalya Marina, vessel reported water ingress at 1715 LT Sep 3, at 1730 vessel sank. There were 84 people on board, all end up in water wearing life vests. 82 were rescued, 2 went missing. KURT-C is a tour sailing boat, according to a photo from kaptanhaber.com, of 24 meters length, 77 GT, Turkey-flagged, 3 crew. Stormy weather said to be the reason of the disaster.

Fortunately all the passengers on board were wearing life jackets during the accident. This is the main reason for the large number of rescued people after capsizing in such bad weather. The local authorities continue to search for the missing people, sending even divers to inspect the capsized boat.
