BOULDER CITY, NV (AP) -
Authorities say a man has died after he was accidentally run over by a boat on Lake Mohave.
Officials at Lake Mead National Recreational Area received a call around 2:15 p.m. Saturday that a visitor had been cut by a boat propeller near Cactus Cove.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife and Arizona Game and Fish responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
Witnesses say a boat operator accidentally put the boat in reverse mode and ran over the victim.
The Mohave County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death as well as the victim's identity.
The National Park Service and Nevada wildlife officials are investigating the incident.
It was not known if the boat operator will face any charges.
