BNSF did it again, it derailed.
A Mansfield fire official says part of a BNSF coal train derailed near the Dallas-area suburb but no injuries were reported.
Mansfield Assistant Fire Chief Michael Ross says there was no immediate determination of why 26 cars of the train came off the tracks Sunday.
The train had more than 130 cars. Ross said the
crash spilled a lot of coal but happened in a rural area away from any
homes or buildings.
Emergency crews found a small area of the wreckage that was smoldering but quickly doused it to prevent a larger fire. Ross said none of the train crew required any medical attention.

A Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway train has derailed in Mansfield.
The incident happened in the 4300 block of Britton Road, near Holland and Seeton Roads.
Officials with the Mansfield Fire Department have confirmed dozens of cars derailed, with several flipping on their side. The train had more than 130 cars and all of the rail cars were carrying coal.
The accident knocked down several power lines and caused a small fire. No injuries or fatalities are being reported.
First responders from Mansfield police and fire are on the scene. Train tracks in the area have been shutdown.
