A skydiver is dead in an apparent parachute accident at
Skydive DeLand, police said Wednesday.
The call came in around 4:10 p.m. in reference to a skydive
accident.
A 33-year-old female was fatally injured. Her identity is
not being released, pending next of kin notification.
Volusia County detectives are investigating the cause of the
accident.
