DENVER, COLORADO
One person was killed in a head-on crash early Tuesday
morning and police said alcohol is suspected.
The crash happened after midnight near the intersection of
S. Quebec St. and E. Iliff Avenue.
State police said a vehicle traveling westbound on Iliff
came across the median and hit another car head-on traveling eastbound.
The driver of the car going westbound died.
Police said the driver of the other vehicle got out of the
car after the crash and ran away. Officers found him a short time later.
One of the vehicles involved flipped over.
