NORTH JACKSON, OHIO (WKBN) – 

A semi-truck clipped a car and crash on its side Monday morning on Interstate 76 eastbound.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. between the Bailey Road exit and the Ohio Turnpike.  One lane of traffic is open in the area, although the trailer is blocking the left-hand lane.

According to police on the scene, emergency workers took three people in the car to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.

Police said weather conditions did not contribute to the accident.
