18-WHEELER OVERTURNS IN I-35, NEAR US 183 IN AUSTIN, TEXAS

a.m. update: Police have reopened one lane of Interstate 35 just south of
U.S. 183 after a crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler early Monday morning,
police said.
Police
said the northbound ramp from Interstate 35 northbound to U.S. 183 is also
open. Drivers should expect major delays as the two left lanes of Interstate 35
northbound continue to be blocked, police said.
Two
men and a woman were involved in the crash and suffered from minor injuries,
according to EMS.
Earlier: All lanes of
Interstate 35 northbound just south of U.S. 183 are blocked following a crash
involving an overturned 18-wheeler early Monday morning, police said.
Officers
and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services have responded to the 7200
block of North Interstate 35 northbound, near East St. Johns Avenue, for
reports of a crash, police said.
Police
are asking drivers to avoid the area while crews work to remove the vehicles
from the roadway.
