SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) - A head-on collision Tuesday morning involving a school bus
and a car sent more than a dozen people to the hospital with injuries, with one
victim suffering injuries considered major.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office reported 15 people went to the hospital as a result of a crash that happened on Brown Road off Brandon Street in Denham Springs.

Witnesses
said the bus was headed to Juban Parc Elementary.
Deputies said the students on the bus suffered minor injuries in the wreck, but those who were taken to the hospital have been treated and released. They added the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with major injuries. The driver's name was not released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
