AND IT JACK-KNIFED, EVENTUALLY CRASHING INTO THE CONCRETE WALL OF THE MEDIAN

Police responded to a single-vehicle wreck Thursday on Interstate 20 in
Lindale.
The wreck, involving an
18-wheeler, happened near Exit 552, about half a mile from Toll 49. The wreck
blocked eastbound lanes of the interstate.
Police say the driver of a Black Hawk Transport Inc. truck lost control of his vehicle and it jack-knifed.
The driver of the truck said he hit a slick spot in the road about and his trailer began fishtailing. He was unable to get the vehicle under control and the truck traveled about half a mile before crashing into the concrete wall of the median and jack-knifing. The driver was not injured in the crash.
Police also responded to a vehicle that slid off the road, which they say was caused by the first wreck.
