PICKUP TRUCK DRIVER INDICTED IN CRASH WITH BUS THAT KILLED 2 PEDESTRIANS AT BROAD AND HIGH, IN COLUMBUS, OHIO

A 62-year-old man has been indicted in connection with the
deaths of two pedestrians at Broad and High streets Downtown.
Terrance Trent is charged with two counts of aggravated
vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault. The indictment says
that Trent was speeding and driving his pickup truck erratically when he ran a
red light at the intersection on Dec. 12.
The pickup struck a Groveport-Madison school bus, which in
turn struck two pedestrians crossing the street.
Stephanie Fibelkorn,
21, died at the scene. William Lewis, 58, died on Dec. 29.
If convicted on all charges, Trent could be sentenced to 13
years in prison, Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said in a release this
morning.
