Atwater Man, 79, Killed In Lawnmower Accident June 16, 2016 3:44 PM
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 79-year-old man is dead after being pinned under his riding lawnmower late Thursday morning in Atwater, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived at the scene just before noon near the 14000 block of 1st Avenue East, and found the man dead in a ditch underneath the mower.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
A 51-year-old North Dakota man was killed Monday in a similar accident.
