Worker killed after he was pinned by a bundle of veneers at the Truax Veneer Plant in Lyons, Georgia

  LYONS, GA (WTOC) -

According to authorities in Toombs County, a worker at the Truax Veneer Plant at 241 Collins Road in Lyons, GA has died after a workplace accident.

Officials said the employee died after a bundle of veneers fell from a stack, pinning him. Police are investigating, but it appears to be accidental.

Officials have not released of the employee because they are still notifying the victim’s relatives.
