Tropical Storm Danny forms in the central Atlantic

Danny is expected to become a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Danny forms in the central Atlantic. Computer model forecasts continue to agree on a track west toward the Caribbean, nearing the Lesser Antilles about a week from now.

We've got a lot of time to watch this one, but it serves as a great reminder that are now entering what is historically the most active time of hurricane season between August 15 to October 15.
