3 crew members on board the Hiram died of toxic gas inhalation

Three Vietnamese crew died on board of the "Hiram" and two more were hospitalized on July 12, 2015, in Pengerang waters. 

The vessel issued a distress call in the morning after all five crew were exposed to a toxic gas inhalation. 

The injured sailors and the bodies were taken to hospital by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA). 

The vessel was en routefrom Bintulu Sarawak to India and was to call Pengerang for bunkering operations.
