1 MAN KILLED, 3 INJURED IN MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH IN WEST LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY

MAY 17, 2015

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB)

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident Sunday morning near the intersection of Dr. W. J. Hodge Street and Magazine Streets, according to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell.

The coroner has identified the victim as 62-year-old James Henry Frazier. Frazier died of blunt force injuries, according to the coroner.
Officials say the crash happened just after 5 a.m.

Investigators say an Oldsmobile was traveling north on Dr. W. J. Hodge Street, when it collided with a Ford Explorer near Magazine Street.

Police say Frazier, the passenger in the Oldsmobile, died at the scene.

The driver and a passenger inside the Ford Explorer, and the driver of the Oldsmobile were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The LMPD Traffic is continuing its investigation into the accident
