LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB)
One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident Sunday
morning near the intersection of Dr. W. J. Hodge Street and Magazine
Streets, according to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell.
The coroner has identified the victim as 62-year-old James
Henry Frazier. Frazier died of blunt force injuries, according to the coroner.
Officials say the crash happened just after 5 a.m.
Investigators say an Oldsmobile was traveling north on Dr. W. J. Hodge Street, when it collided with a Ford Explorer near Magazine Street.
Police say Frazier, the passenger in the Oldsmobile, died at the scene.
The driver and a passenger inside the Ford Explorer, and the driver of the Oldsmobile were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say speed may have been a factor in the crash.
