Flames charred a North Highlands home Tuesday morning.
No one was home at the time.
Firefighters kept flames from neighboring homes.
Sacramento Metro Fire District estimated damage to the two-story home in the 6800 block of Silverthorne Circle at $300,000.
Fire investigators also said the fire was intentionally set.
