PEDESTRIAN DEAD ON I-95 IN WILMINGTON, DE. HE WALKED INTO THE PATH OF INCOMING TRAFFIC AND WAS HIT BY 4 VEHICLES.

State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident on I-95 in
Wilmington.
It happened around 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes near Delaware Avenue.
Police say the male victim walked right into the path of a 2013 Chevy Equinox.
The victim was then hit by three more vehicles.
All four vehicles managed to stop not far from the accident scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are still trying to identify him.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of the road for three hours.
