FIRE AT THE SUPER 7 STORE ON THE 2300 BLOCK OF SPRUCE STREET IN EWING COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

Firefighters
battled a 2-alarm fire at a Ewing Township convenience store in Mercer County
Sunday morning.
The fire broke out shortly after 4:00 a.m. at the Super 7 store on the 2300 block of Spruce Street.
Passing motorists called fire officials after noticing smoke emanating from the strip mall.
Crews struck a second alarm which brought in several neighboring fire companies to assist.
The fire spread from the Super 7 to an adjoining liquor store.
Both stores suffered damage.
No injuries were reported and there is no word on a cause and origin of the fire.
