HAZMAT CREWS CONTAIN AMMONIA LEAK IN FRANKFORD SECTION OF PHILADELPHIA

Hazardous
materials crews have contained an ammonia leak in the Frankford section of
Philadelphia.
The leak was reported at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at Amuneal Manufacturing in the 4700 block of Darrah Street.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and focused a 500 gallon drum outside the building.
The leak was contained by 6:45 a.m.
Action News is told no workers were on the scene when the leak happened.
No injuries or evacuations were reported.
