Crane slips off loader truck while it was making a U-Turn

Note the crane operator is confident enough about the road surface not to bother with outrigger mats.  People are just looking for trouble by failing to follow all the proper procedures.

A large All Terrain crane was dumped on its side outside the port in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday after it came off of the low loader as it did a U-Turn when the driver was refused entrance.

The crane had apparently been repaired and refurbished in the area and was due to be shipped out from the port. The driver did not have the correct documentation though and was turned away from the entrance.  As he did a U-Turn the crane slid off and landed in the street.

Two massive wrecker trucks were called in to try and pull it back onto its wheels, followed by a truck crane.
