3 Children Die in Deadly House Fire In Byhalia, Mississippi

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Marshall County Mississippi police and fire responded to a fire call around 2 am Saturday morning at 917 French Rd in Byhalia where three children were reportedly trapped and killed inside a burning house.

Major Kelly McMillen with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office tells Fox 13 that the children ages eight months, one year and two years old were trapped and killed inside the house.


Fox13 has learned that the address of the fire was the home of the grandmother, who was babysitting at the time of the fire for her daughter. Eight month old Mikayla, one year old Abel and two year old Tylan.


Several fire crews from Watson, Red Banks, and Victoria were on the scene assisting.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
