CARLSTADT, N.J. -- A worker who fell from the roof of a Carlstadt industrial building Wednesday morning was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, authorities said.
The extent of his injuries couldn't immediately be determined, they said.
The 24-year-old worker from Detroit "fell from an unknown height from the roof of the Beta Plastics building," at 120 Amor Ave. just after 9:30 a.m., Sgt. John Cleary told Daily Voice.
He was working for Jottan Inc. Roofing Contractors out of Florence, NJ, Cleary said.
Medics were on board when he was transported to HUMC, the sergeant said.
OSHA was notified and responded to the scene, he said.
