Excessive speed is a factor in a weekend crash that seriously hurt the driver of an ATV, Cincinnati police said.
Officers responded to Groesbeck Road near Gray Road just before midnight Saturday.
A 2008 Honda TRX 400E ATV heading westbound on Groesbeck Road crossed the double yellow line to pass a vehicle and was hit head-on by a 2008 Lexus ES350, police said in a prepared statement.
The driver of the ATV, Calvin Clark, 49, was ejected and hit the windshield of the Lexus.
He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
At last check Sunday, he was listed in serious condition.
The driver of the Lexus, A'Aijah Stanley, wore her seat belt and was not hurt, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
It was unclear Sunday if impairment was a factor besides speed. But most likely the guy was drunk and was driving at excessive speeds at midnight on the road on an ATV! This guy had a death wish or something.
