SPRINGFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people were injured in a crash on Interstate 295 in Burlington County.
The accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. Friday in the southbound lanes near the Pennsylvania Turnpike connection in Springfield Township.
Police say the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle, went off the highway and crashed into the wooded median area.
The driver and lone passenger were taken to area hospitals for nonlife-threatening injuries. Most likely the driver was speeding or he was under the influence or he had a medical condition.
Traffic was delayed in the area for more than an hour.
