Fatal Early-Morning Crash Prompts Kendall Drive Closure
An early morning fatal car crash had one major road shut down while police investigate.
An early-morning fatal car crash on Friday created a traffic nightmare for motorists on one Miami-Dade roadway.
Just after 4:30 a.m., police responded to the crash on Kendall Drive at SW 82nd Avenue. Chopper 6 over the scene showed a single vehicle after it struck a light pole.
Shortly after the crash, all westbound lanes of Kendall Drive were closed. Later, those lanes were reopened and the eastbound lanes were closed. They have since been reopened.
Police have not released any details.
