I-97 in Anne Arundel County has reopened after a police officer was seriously injured in a multi-car crash on Wednesday morning.
Police
say that the Anne Arundel County police officer's vehicle was
rear-ended by another vehicle. The accident, which happened at 8:30
a.m., caused major delays near Route 32.
The officer was flown to the hospital for treatment. The officer's identity has not been released at this time.
