Worker seriously injured after falling inside a wind turbine in Bosanquet Township, Ontario

Bosanquet Township, Ontario 

On July 21, 2015 at about 7:15 p.m. the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a wind turbine construction site located on Ravenswood Line, Bosanquet Township.

Upon OPP arrival it was discovered that an employee performing his assigned duties had fallen to ground level from an elevated height within the turbine shaft. Subsequently, the employee received onsite medical attention and was soon air lifted by ambulatory personnel to Hospital. The employee was deemed to have suffered serious injuries.

The OPP secured the work site until an Occupational Health and Safety Investigator arrived and commenced an investigation on behalf of the Ministry of Labour.
