Scared Shitless:  Imaginary Shooting, Imaginary Shooter Trigger Multimillion  Response, Panic at Navy Yard.  Malfunctioning Car Transmission to Blame.
Something is really wrong here.  How is it possible to refuse to properly secure or protect the borders and  then get all panicky about few noises and hypothetical or imagery shots?  Is this the land of the brave?  We need to get a grip on reality:  we are losing 35,000 really dead citizens on our deadly roads every year;  we are losing another 15,000 citizens per year on gun violence that has nothing to do with terrorism.  On the other hand, there are very few incidents of terrorism, just few cases of stupid idiots or nuts that have no life and want to do crusades - that is all.  Our priorities are clearly misplaced.
We wish that our government was equally responsive when people are getting killed every day on the roads and gun violence and from immigrants crossing the border.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) – A report of possible gunshots at the Navy Yard triggered a massive law enforcement response in the area Thursday morning, where no evidence of a shooter or shooting were found.
At 7:29 a.m., an official at the Navy Yard called D.C. law enforcement officials for assistance after someone reported hearing gunshots. Multiple agencies, including the Metropolitan Police Department, the FBI, U.S. Park Police, Homeland Security and the ATF responded.
All buildings at the Navy Yard were on lockdown and many people were evacuated. No one was injured, according to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.
The FBI and D.C. police gave the all clear at approximately 10 a.m., about two and a half hours after initial reports.
Multiple roads were closed in the area during the incident.
The scene was reminiscent of 2013's mass shooting, when a lone gunman opened fire in Building 197, killing 12 people and injuring three others.
