Deadly 3-vehicle fiery crash blocks lanes of I-880 in Oakland, California

OAKLAND, Calif. -- 

 

The California Highway Patrol this morning is reporting a fatal crash on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland.

The crash occurred near the 29th Avenue off-ramp, according to the CHP.

The CHP has issued a Sig-Alert due to the crash.



Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, and at least one vehicle caught fire, according to the CHP.

Three lanes of the highway are currently blocked due to the crash.
