A fiery crash involving 2 tractor trailers, a tour bus and a
passenger vehicle has shut down traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in
Gloucester County.
It happened at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes between exits 1 and 2 in Woolwich Township.
State police tell Action News one of the tractor trailers was carrying paint and auto parts, and the tour bus was not carrying any passengers, when the vehicles collided.
One of the tractor trailers burst into flames.
Images from the Action Cam at the scene showed firefighters on the scene, smoke come from one of the trailers, and a heavily damaged passenger vehicle.
There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
Police were intermittently allowing one lane of northbound traffic to get on the shoulder.
Traffic was backed up for 4 miles approaching the scene.
